McDonald's Drive Thru Now Open At Rownhams South

Still trying to dodge the crowds? Juggling the kids on your own? Avoiding the great British weather? Local motorway service area, Roadchef Rownhams South, is expanding its offering to help give you the convenience and ease you need without having to leave your car as it adds a McDonald’s Drive-Thru lane.

The site, which is located at junction 3 on the M27, is adding the Drive-Thru, in a move that is set to offer a quick and convenient food-on-the-go option for travellers in the area. Due to open on 23rd June 2022, the new Drive-Thru is expected to create around ten jobs in the local area of trained crew members.

Elaine Burt, Site Manager at Roadchef Rownhams commented: “We are delighted to now be able to offer a McDonald’s Drive-Thru in addition to the other great food and beverage options on site here at Rownhams. Not only will it provide a highly convenient option for those who want to quickly grab food on the move from the comfort of their own car, but it will also create some much-needed jobs in the local area. We have a wonderful team working here and we look forward to welcoming new employees and customers in the near future.”

To celebrate the opening, Roadchef, has announced that it will be running a competition on Monday 27 June for the first 50 people to visit the new McDonald’s Drive-Thru at Roadchef Rownhams. Customers aged 18 and above will be asked to give a secret password of ‘Roll With It’ when they place their order to be in with the chance of winning a meal worth up to £25. T&Cs apply.
