Roadchef Enhances Strensham Services With New McDonald's Drive-Thru
Roadchef has announced the opening of a new McDonald’s Drive-Thru at its Strensham Southbound located on the M5, marking a significant enhancement in customer convenience and on-the-go dining options.
This development is part of Roadchef’s broader commitment to improving its facilities, ensuring that motorists have a seamless and enjoyable experience when they choose to stop and relax.
The addition of the Drive-Thru lane complements the existing McDonald’s restaurant, providing multiple ordering options including Drive-Thru, in-store counter service, self-order kiosks, and mobile app ordering. The project also includes a reconfiguration of the car park to improve traffic circulation and parking, enhancing overall site accessibility.
This investment has led to the creation of 45 new team member roles, offering a significant boost to local employment.

This opening marks Roadchef’s seventh McDonald’s Drive-Thru across its 30 McDonald's restaurants located at Roadchef sites across the UK, highlighting the company's strategic focus on expanding its partnership with one of the world’s most recognisable food brands.
In addition to the new Drive-Thru, Roadchef has recently enhanced its Strensham Southbound services by installing six new 360kw high-powered EV chargers in partnership with GRIDSERVE.
These developments are part of Roadchef’s ongoing investment in modernising its facilities, ensuring that Strensham Services remains a top choice for motorists seeking convenience, variety, and quality services on their journeys. This upgrade at Strensham follows the recent transformation of Folkestone Services by Roadchef, where new additions, including McDonald's and Costa, both feature Drive-Thrus. have brought even more variety and accessibility to travellers.
