Roadchef has added six more 360KW electric vehicle (EV) chargers to Strensham South services near Tewkesbury in Worcestershire on the M5 between junctions 7 and 8.

Available now, the high-powered GRIDSERVE chargers, with Combined Charging System (CCS) connectors for maximum compatibility, will allow drivers to fully charge their vehicles in minutes, accept contactless payments, and provide real-time status updates to several popular EV charging maps.

These new additions complement the existing two medium-power chargers at Strensham South, which are equipped with both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, further enhancing the location's charging capabilities.

With electric vehicles increasing their market share in the UK, as highlighted by SMMT, Roadchef’s continued investment in charging infrastructure is a crucial step in future-proofing Britain’s roads.

Beyond the charging convenience, electric vehicle drivers at Strensham South Services can enjoy the various amenities offered by Roadchef, including complimentary Wi-Fi and access to popular shopping and dining options.
